Bringing Comfort, Connection, and Joy to Adults with Cancer
No one should face cancer alone.

Mission
Grateful Friends exists to uplift adults with cancer in Essex and Middlesex Counties in Massachusetts through compassionate support and thoughtful acts of unexpected joy, reminding them that they matter and are never alone.
Vision
We envision a world where adults with cancer are surrounded by kindness, community, and tangible support. A world where dignity, strength, and hope are restored. Where joy is not a luxury, but a vital part of healing.

At Grateful Friends, we ease the everyday burdens of cancer treatment through our signature Comfort Baskets™, financial assistance, and caregiver support. Every act of support—whether keeping the lights on, providing a meal, offering a moment of escape, or sending a thoughtful note—reminds patients they are seen, supported, and part of a compassionate community.
Our programs are made possible by a dedicated network of volunteers, donors, and community partners. Whether it’s assembling baskets, coordinating financial assistance, or sending a note of encouragement, every act of support lifts spirits and brings relief to those navigating treatment.
